The Palace of Culture Energetik in Pripyat was a multi-purpose cultural centre, containing a cinema, a concert hall, a gym, a boxing ring, a swimming pool and a study hall. It was located on Lenin Square in the centre of the city and was a much loved meeting point for many of the city’s residents.
